For The Ladies

Good Day ~ My Sistahs!
After years of criss-crossing the globe with my independent-minded, well-traveled mother and sisters, I know one thing for sure;  there are abundant opportunities for Black women to experience real romance in their lives.  Throughout the diaspora I have been wooed, courted, and serendaded.  I have  had fruit plucked from a tree and fed to me.  I have had mud washed from my feet after stepping in a puddle.  I have had love sonnets composed for me.  I have been proposed to on a beach under a starry sky.  This is traditional courtship behavior in many, many countries of the world. It is culturally ingrained, and has been perfected and refined through the ages... just not in America.

My Sistahs, we need not acquiesce to the propaganda that there are "no more good men".  Romance is not dead!  The world is teeming with gorgeous men-of-color who would love to make your acquaintance.  Now hold on Ladies, no need to jump on the first  jet out of here (at least not right away),  just  open your minds,  Broaden Your Horizons,  and let the magic happen.
